Hai guys. 8 am terribly sorry that I have not been active on this site whatsoever, but I can assure you its not because I have stopped drawing or stopped loving you guys, it's because I stopped loving this site. A friend of mine sent me an article a few months ago saying why I shouldn't post my art on deviant art anymore, and the evidence behind it was pretty damning. So in other words I created an art blog on Tumblr and on Instagram in order to compensate for my lacking on this website. If you guys still care and want to watch me grow on either one of those platforms, you can find me with the same username: artistic_alli97 on both of them. I am terribly sorry this hasn't worked out, guys. I still love you all and I hope you will continue to follow my work. Love always,

As if 2016 didn't suck already

So, last night I posted a brief apology stating that I regret not being active on this site, and how over winter break I planned to fix that...well that's not the only thing I need to fix because now my tablet is broken.
Yesterday I was drawing on my tablet, and everything was fine, it was working better than it had in a while, and I was exploring a few new techniques on SAI. Everything was working smoothly, and I was really excited because I have not used my tablet since October.
I don't use my tablet much, and I haven't even had it for a long time, maybe 2-3 years max. I always store it carefully in my desk drawer, and I haven't had many problems with it. The only issue I have ever had with it is, you know how when your earbuds are starting to die, and you have to position them in a certain way or else only one earbud has music, or there is no music at all? Yeah, that was what was happening to it last year. I managed to find the sweetspot, though, and found a way to keep it there so it would stop malfunctioning.
But then last night, after I had been working for a few hours I unplugged the device (I wasn't expecting to use it again) and left my room to get dinner. Well, when I got back I got the brilliant idea that I should draw the cover to my chapbook for my poetry class. So, I plugged my tablet back in, and I got a notification saying the USB device malfunctioned and that windows could not recognize it. I tried plugging the tablet into my other two USB ports, and got the same message. I decided it was probably my laptop's fault, I mean, how can you not recognize a device I had JUST USED, and decided to restart it. Once I went through 10,000 new updates, my computer rebooted, and I tried it again. The same thing happened. I thought maybe that sweetspot I found was no longer working, so I tried moving it around and trying a few different USB ports, and every single time, the same message popped up. That was when I realized that the light on my tablet was flashing, something I remember reading in the manual that there is a malfunction or something wrong with the device if it flashes. However, I don't have my manual with me, and even if I did I'm not sure if I would know how to fix it.
If anyone knows what the problem might be, and how I might be able to fix it, please let me know. You can comment on this journal or DM me.
If not, I am going to try and figure it out myself, and either fix it or get a new tablet. It's a good thing the Christmas season is coming, right?!
So, until that happens, I don't know if I will be able to remain as active as I would like to.

I haven't been doing a lot of drawing lately, so that is completely my bad.
Finals suck.
Hopefully over break I can do some doodling or something. Sorry for being so inactive. I am going to try my best.
But for now, I got to get back to my finals.

I have been missing out!!!
I have this good friend that I've known since we were like 12. We grew up watching and doing the same things, and he was the one who got me into the whole super hero craze. Now, I have been watching Teen Titans since I was a small child. But recently, my friend has been telling me to watch another show he thinks I may like.
Young Justice.
And yes. It is amazing. I have been binge watching this show for like a week, and the only reason why I am not finished with it yet is because I know it got canceled after two seasons. I'm already halfway through season two and UUUUUUGH!
I love it. So much.
I don't want it to end.
There are so many good characters and amazing story lines! SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Why did they cancel it? 
It's so good. And it's given me sooo much inspiration! And not just for new fanart, but also for some new OC's. I'm working on a new group of characters, some super heroes, some super vilians, some that work in between, and I'm really excited. These characters are gonna be working with some of the characters from the show (because I couldn't resist), some from other super hero groups, aaand yeah. I've already got a few drawn up, but I don't want to release any until I am done with all of them.
I don't think this will turn out to be a fic. There's not enough steam for me, so I will most likely just draw some mini comics or something.
Oh and in case it hasn't already been clear, I've fallen in love with the Flashes.
BABIES!!!
I miss Wally in season two. It saddens me that he's not around as much. I want him back! Grabbing souvenirs isn't the same without him. Impulse is an okay replacement, and he has a lot of potential, but he's not shown enough for me to fall in love with him.
Oh! One more fangirl moment!
BEASTBOY! He was my favorite in Teen Titans, and seeing him as a wee babie has been exploding the feels.
Okay, that is all.

Bender Games on Deviantart?

So I have recently been thinking... 
Some of you guys seem to like some of my original art, especially for my "fanfiction" The Bender Games...So I was kind of wondering...should I post Bender Games on here? I would have a completely separate folder for it, and you guys can read it whenever you want. I will still be posting it on wattpad, so my readers on there won't get mad at me. I just, I don't know. I'm on the fence about it.. SO I thought that maybe I could hear some feedback from you guys!
Should I post Bender Games on here? Do you want to know the story of my original characters, Ariel and Axel?
Plus, I feel like I would get more feedback on this site rather than wattpad, because on wattpad all they do is tell me to continue writing, which I am, thanks.
